Technology is a very good tool in helping children reach their full potential in school. There are also some risks while using technology such as what the students are researching exactly and what information they are coming across. There are so many inappropriate websites out there that children accidentally or intentionally come upon. Such websites that include hate crime groups and bullying can pose problems and interfere with the child's learning. Some ways these problems can be reduced is by limiting the amount of time the children are on the computer. The teacher and the parent can set specific sites only and block sites that they feel are not appropriate. The parent should be responsible in talking to there children about hate crime websites and discuss with them how they are bad and talk to them about online bullying.
